Nyomozás indult a Molnál felmerült bennfenteskereskedelem-gyanús részvényügyletek ügyében, miután a Fővárosi Főügyészség hatályon kívül helyezte a Budapesti Rendőr-főkapitányság korábbi elutasító határozatát. A 444 arról ír, hogy az ügyészség szerint a rendőrség nem vizsgálta megfelelően, hogyan történhetett jelentős részvényértékesítés egy árfolyamérzékeny esemény után, miközben a nyilvánosság csak hetekkel később értesült az olajszállítás leállásáról. A vádhatóság állítólag azt is kifogásolta, hogy a BRFK döntése nagyrészt a Mol saját nyilatkozatára épült, ami nem tekinthető független értékelésnek.
